La penúltima voluntad

Ciertamente1 solo podía ser un acertijo. No obstante, aquello solo la desconcertaba más2. Marta estaba confundida3 porque desconocía cuál4 podía ser el motivo de aquel papel con la letra5 de su padre a los pies de un plano6 que cambió su vida.

Todo parecía encajar tan bien7 que solo había una respuesta a lo que estaba pasando: Carlos había preparado esa escena con antelación8. Le había dado la entrada para que fuese al museo y encontrase aquella… pista9. ¡Sí, de eso se trataba!10

Una sonrisa tiró11 de la comisura de sus labios12 cuando Marta cayó en la cuenta de13 que solo se trataba de un juego. Como los juegos que había preparado su padre para que Marta encontrase14 sus regalos de navidad o cumpleaños. Era una búsqueda del tesoro15. Y el hecho de que un hombre tan ocupado como él se hubiera tomado la molestia de preparar16 aquello le calentaba el corazón sobremanera17.

Con una alegre emoción burbujeando en el cuerpo, Marta leyó de nuevo el acertijo: «Está en un cucurucho y muy rico es. Si en comértelo tardas, te quedarás sin él». La respuesta era simple: un helado. No obstante, no tenía muy claro qué hacer a continuación.

What level of Spanish do I need?

This is an advanced course, pitched at around C1. We'd recommend it for learners who've completed Coffee Break Spanish Level 4 or an equivalent advanced course. If you can follow a conversation between native speakers and read longer texts with a bit of effort, you're ready for the story.

How is the course structured?

The complete story spans 20 chapters. Each chapter comes with native-speaker audio and an annotated text, a video version, an in-depth language study episode, a vocabulary list and a taller lingüístico workshop. You get all of it at once and work through it at your own pace.

Do I get everything straight away?
